Compared to the last special two weeks ago, steer calves weighing 400-600 lbs sold with a higher undertone on a light test with two weeks ago, 600-800 lbs sold with a firm undertone and two pot loads of 1000 lb steers were not tested but sold with a firm to higher undertone. Feeder heifer weighing 400-600 lbs had the best test trading $3.00-7.00 higher and over 600 lbs sold with a firm undertone. Slaughter cows on a light offering traded steady. Demand was moderate to good on a moderate supply wit the best demand on the 400-600 lb steers and heifer calves . Two pot loads of heavy weight yearling steers weighing 1020-1040 lbs sold with good demand as did a pot load of 690 lb heifers. Supply included: 90% Feeder Cattle (53% Steers, 47% Heifers); 10% Slaughter Cattle (17% Steers, 71% Cows, 12% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 48%.
