Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold steady to $5.00 lower with lower quality in the offering than last week. Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady; Demand lower and supply moderate. Supply included: 88% Feeder Cattle (44% Steers, 45% Heifers, 11% Bulls); 11% Slaughter Cattle (90% Cows, 10% Bulls); 1% Replacement Cattle (60% Bred Cows, 33% Bred Heifers, 7% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 39%.

Compared to last week, best test was on 500-700 lb steer calves trading mostly steady with 700-800 lbs selling with a higher undertone with a light test from last week. Feeder heifer quality was not as attractive as last week with the best demand on two lots of 800-815 lb heifers selling with good demand with a few 4 weight heifers selling steady to firm and the rest lightly tested. Slaughter cows sold steady to firm on a nice offering. Demand was moderate to good on a moderate supply. Supply included: 82% Feeder Cattle (54% Steers, 37% Heifers, 9% Bulls); 18% Slaughter Cattle (12% Steers, 5% Heifers, 72% Cows, 11% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 49%.
