Compared to the last special three weeks ago, the best test on steers weighed 650-750 lbs trading $2.00-7.00 higher, with the 500-650 lbs steers and over 750 lbs all selling with a firm to higher undertone on light comparisons. Feeder heifers weighing 500-650 lbs sold with a sharply higher undertone with few good comparisons. A nice offering of feeder cattle sold on Friday's market with the bulk of the feeders weighing over 600 lbs and selling on and active market. Slaughter cows sold steady to firm, spots $2.00 higher on the high dressing cows. Supply included: 88% Feeder Cattle (61% Steers, 39% Heifers); 12% Slaughter Cattle (29% Steers, 5% Heifers, 57% Cows, 9% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 67%.
