Mark Your Calendars For The 43rd Old Timer’s Days And The 19th Annual River Hills Adventure Tractor Ride ​

   2021 is back again planning the 43rd Old Timer’s Days and 19th Annual River Hills Adventure Tractor Ride events. Old Timer’s Days will be held on May 29-30, 2021, 9 am – 5 pm at the Seminary Picnic Grounds in Perryville, Mo. and the Tractor Ride will be held on July 31.

   Old Timer’s Days will again be packed with great actiities for the entire family to enjoy. Visitors can witnss blacksmithing, corn shelling, wood splitter, rope making, see vintage cars & trucks and much much more.

   Saturday’s events will include tractor games, kids pedal pull, skillet tossing, small train rides and the Lawn Mower Pull that begins at 3 p.m. The sign up is at 2 p.m.

   The winners of the Oliver 1950T pedal tractor raffled off by the RHATC were Mike and Nancy Byma. Mike and Nancy live close to Ashley, Ill. on a small farm and their family have been farmers in the area. They are members of the club and also involved in the American Thresherman Show. They sold a lot of tickets for the club.

   Perryville is also the home of a new Antique Tractor Museum. It opened in 2020 with a big display of old tractors, equipment, pedal tractors and other farm history. When you venture out for these activities be sure to stop in and check it out! ∆
