4/7/21 Cattle Sale Market Report

Top tier cattle paired with aggressive demand resulted in a very active market. Grass cattle weighing 300lbs-600lbs were in ever higher demand this week as 3 weight boy calves were as high as $216/cwt. The true highlight of the day was a pot load of 94hd steers averaging 555lbs at $195/cwt. This quote was high enough to earn the spot as DV Auction’s Feeder Flash Top Quote of the Day powered by Zactran, meaning it was the highest cattle quoted in the entire county for Wednesday.
