Compared to the last special two weeks ago, the best test on steers weighed 550-700 lbs and sold $4.00-6.00 higher, with 700-750 lbs trading $2.00-4.00 higher, feeder heifers had the best test on 500-650 lbs and sold $2.00-4.00 higher. Demand was moderate to good on a moderate supply. A nice offering of good quality steers calves weighing 650-750 lbs sold with the best demand. Slaughter cows traded firm to 3.00 higher. Supply included: 84 percent Feeder Cattle (61 percent Steers, 37 percent Heifers, 2 percent Bulls); 16 percent Slaughter Cattle (7 percent Steers, 9 percent Heifers, 72 percent Cows, 12 percent Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 65 percent.
