Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold uneven, from $4.00 lower to $4.00 higher. Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady; Demand uneven and supply moderate. Supply included: 86 percent Feeder Cattle (40 percent Steers, 45 percent Heifers, 15 percent Bulls); 12 percent Slaughter Cattle (82 percent Cows, 18 percent Bulls); 2 percent Replacement Cattle (88 percent Bred Cows, 12 percent Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 26 percent.

Compared to last week, a very light offering of feeder cattle were very lightly tested with few good comparisons selling in small groups and singles. A few comparable sales traded steady to weak on same kind and quality as last week. Slaughter cows sold fully steady. Slaughter cattle consisted of near 50 percent of the total receipts.
