Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold steady to $4.00 higher on a light test due to mud. Slaughter cows and a few bulls sold $1.00 higher; Demand good and supply light. Supply included: 87 percent Feeder Cattle (48 percent Steers, 43 percent Heifers, 9 percent Bulls); 10 percent Slaughter Cattle (90 percent Cows, 10 percent Bulls); 3 percent Replacement Cattle (92 percent Bred Cows, 8 percent Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 36 percent.

Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady to $1.00 higher; Demand good and supply heavy. Supply included: 96 percent Feeder Cattle (52 percent Steers, 45 percent Heifers, 3 percent Bulls); 3 percent Slaughter Cattle (84 percent Cows, 16 percent Bulls); 1 percent Replacement Cattle (61 percent Bred Cows, 30 percent Bred Heifers, 9 percent Cow-Calf Pairs).
