MEMPHIS, TENN.
   The National Conservation Systems Conferences Chairman John LaRose is pleased to announce that Ambassador Gregg Doud from the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) has accepted the invitation to keynote the 23th Annual National Conservation Systems Conferences to be held at the Hilton Hotel & Convention Center in Memphis, Tennessee on January 30 & 31, 2020.
   The Annual event includes the National Conservation Systems Cotton and Rice Conference, the Delta States Irrigation Conference, Southern Corn and Soybean Conference and the Southern Precision Ag Conference. The conferences bring together farmers, land grant universities and allied industries with an extensive list of topics aimed at enhancing farm profitability.  Hundreds of farmers representing millions of acres attend each year.
   The conference is produced by MidAmerica Farm Publication, AgWiki.com and is sponsored by Cotton Incorporated and US Rice Producers Association (USRPA). Co-Sponsored by United Soybean Board, Mid-South Soybean Board, Mississippi Water Resources Research Institute and Missouri Rice Council. The conferences are Co-Sponsored by Land Grant Universities from Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee and Texas. 
   Ambassador Doud is the Chief Agriculture Negotiator for the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, he was confirmed by the U.S. Senate on March 1, 2018. Raised on a farm in Kansas, Ambassador Doud has a long distinguished career in agriculture production, policy and trade.  Prior to his appointment to the USTR, Doud was the President of the Commodity Markets Council and was a Senior Staff member of the Senate Agriculture Committee for Senators Pat Roberts and Thad Cochran.
