SOMERVILLE, TENN.
February 6, 2020: The Fayette County Extension Office along with the Fayette County Livestock Association will be hosting a Beef Forage meeting. This meeting will be held at The Mid-South Farmers Coop-17520 Hwy 64 E. Somerville, TN 38008 starting at 6:00 p.m. Dr. Gary Bates, UT Forage Specialist will be speaking at this meeting. February 13-14, 2020: The Fayette, Hardeman, and Tipton County Extension Offices will be hosting a Master Beef Program. This meeting will be held at The Hardeman Co. Extension Office-210 Vildo Rd. Bolivar, TN 38008 from 8-5 both days. The following agents and specialists will be speaking at this meeting: Dr. Andrew Griffith on Marketing and Management; Brian White on Genetics/Reproduction; Dr. Lew Strickland on Herd Health; Julie Giles on Farm Security; Dr. Pat Keyser on Forages; Barry Gray on Handling Facilities; and Kathy Moore on TAEP.
