UK KATS To Host Mid-Season Training
PRINCETON, KY.
The Kentucky Agricultural Training School will host a mid-season training June 13 at the University of Kentucky Research and Education Center in Princeton.
The daylong, hands-on clinic is ideal for corn and soybean producers and crop consultants. Specialists with the UK College of Agriculture, Food and Environment will discuss growth staging for both crops, herbicide injury identification, soybean disease management considerations and scouting for insect pests in corn and soybeans.
Class size is limited to 30 people, and registration is required. To register, visit https://www.eventbrite.com/e/mid-season-training-tickets-60891161102. This clinic will be held rain or shine, so participants will need to dress accordingly. Lunch is provided.
Certified crop advisers can receive six hours of continuing education units. Pesticide applicators can receive three general and one specific hours in categories 1A, 10 and 12.
The UKREC Farm is located at 1205 Hopkinsville Street in Princeton.
