Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold steady to $5.00 higher. Slaughter cows and bulls sold $1.00-2.00 higher; Demand good and supply moderate. Supply included: 85 percent Feeder Cattle (31 percent Steers, 36 percent Heifers, 33 percent Bulls); 13 percent Slaughter Cattle (91 percent Cows, 9 percent Bulls); 1 percent Replacement Cattle (100 percent Bred Cows). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 17 percent.
