Compared to the last special two weeks ago, the best test on feeder steers were weighing 550-650 lbs sold fully steady, with 650-750 lbs on a light test sold with a lower undertone as overall quality and numbers were much lower than two weeks ago. Feeder heifers weighing 500-700 lbs sold with a lower undertone on a light test as they were not as attractive as two weeks ago, 700-750 lbs heifers had a nice offering but were not well tested. Freezing rain over the last couple of days and icey side roads help curb receipts this week.  Slaughter cows accounted for near 10 percent of the total receipts and sold steady to firm.
