Cows made up approximately 14 percent of the run, 86 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 39 percent of the offering, 45 percent heifers with 15 percent feeder bulls. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 40 percent.

Friday's auction consisted mostly of slaughter cows, bred cows and pairs along with a nice offering of top quality bred heifers all selling with moderate to good demand. Slaughter cows sold steady to $2.00 higher. Feeders were not tested with very light offering of mostly singles and small packages. Slaughter cows accounted for near 35 percent of the total receipts with bred cows and pairs accounting for near 30 percent and the balance feeders.

Steers made up approximately 53 percent of the offering, 36 percent heifers with 12 percent feeder bulls. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 51 percent.
