Compared to the last special two weeks ago, feeder steers weighing 600-800 lbs and heifers weighing 500-700 lbs sold $2.00-5.00 higher with spots $7.00 higher on the 750-800 lb steers. Feeder steers weighing 500-600 lbs sold steady to $5.00 lower with the most decline on the 500-550 lb steers. Demand was moderate to good with supply moderate to heavy. Offering included several consignments and strings of top quality yearling steers weighing 650-950 lbs selling with the best demand. Slaughter cows accounted for near 8 percent of the total receipts and traded $1.00-3.00 higher. Feeder cattle consisted of 65 percent steers, 35 percent heifers and 70 percent weighing over 600 lbs.

Due to the weather too small of an offering for a trend comparison. Few slaughter cows and bulls sold steady. Supply very light. Cows made up approximately 8 percent of the run, 92 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 4 percent of the offering, 25 percent heifers with 68 percent feeder bulls. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 31 percent.
