United States Congressman Rick Crawford Keynote Speaker Ag Educational Conference
The 22th Annual National Conservation Systems Cotton & Rice Conference, the Southern Corn & Soybean Conference, the Southern Precision Ag Conference and the Delta States Irrigation Conferences are thrilled to announce U.S. Congressman Rick Crawford will be a keynote speaker at the upcoming event.
Crawford is very familiar with the agriculture industry. After military service, Crawford attended Arkansas State University and earned a degree in Agriculture Business and Economics.
Crawford’s career has primarily focused on agriculture and communications. He has worked as a television news anchor and agri-reporter as well as a marketing manager for one of the largest John Deere dealer groups in North America.
In the U.S. House of Representatives, Crawford, representing Arkansas’ first congressional District, serves on three committees including the House Agriculture Committee, the House Transportation & Infrastructure Committee, and the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.
Sponsored by Cotton Incorporated and US Rice Producers Association and is a production of MidAmerica Farm Publications, the event is scheduled for January 31-February 1, 2019 at the Crowne Plaza, Baton Rouge, LA.
The conference is fast becoming the leading source for Certified Crop Consultants to earn Continuing Education Credits (CEU’s). The 2018 conference was approved for 68 hours of CEU’s by the Certified Crop Advisors Association. It is expected that similar CEU’s will be offered in the 2019 conference.
