Last month, the USDA released the first update of the National Road Map for Integrated Pest Management (IPM) since 2013. This is the second update since its inception in 2003. The National Road Map helps to prioritize IPM research, technology development, education, plus implementation through information exchange and coordination among governmental agencies, researchers, educators, industry innovators, and practioners. These priorities guide future funding decisions and investments in IPM. There are many substantial changes to the Road Map as would be expected with IPM, as IPM is constantly evolving to meet changing IPM challenges through advancement of the science and IPM practice. ∆
