Cows made up approximately 12 percent of the run, 88 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 45 percent of the offering, 46 percent heifers with 10 percent feeder bulls. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 35 percent.

Compared to last week, a light test of feeders traded mostly steady on comparable sales with several nice consignments of steers calves under 600 lbs but all mostly unweaned and carrying flesh. Slaughter cows sold steady with last week. Demand was moderate with supply light. Slaughter cows accounted for near 20 percent of the total receipts and slaughter steers and heifers near 7 percent. Feeder supply consisted of 65 percent steers and bull, 35 percent heifers and 28 percent weighing over 600 lbs.
