Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold steady to 4.00 lower. Slaughter cows sold $3.00 higher and bulls sold steady. Supply light. Cows made up approximately 15 percent of the run, 85 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 37 percent of the offering, 46 percent heifers with 17 percent feeder bulls. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 28 percent.

Compared to last week a light test of feeders traded mostly steady tofirm on comparable sales of calves with many short weaned and unweaned. Demand was moderate to good on a light supply. Slaughter cows sold steady to firm. Slaughter cows accounted for near 27 percent of the total receipts, slaughter steers and heifers totaled 12 percent with the balance feeders. Feeder supply consisted of 60 percent steers and bulls, 40 percent heifers and 13 percent weighing over 600 lbs.
