Cows made up approximately 17 percent of the run, 83 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 48 percent of the offering, 40 percent heifers with 12 percent feeder bulls. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 32 percent.

Compared to last week, a very light test of feeders were lightly tested with a few groups of 650-750 lb heifers trading with a firm tohigher undertone. Demand moderate to good with supply light going into Labor Day weekend. Slaughter cows accounted for near 30 percent of the total receipts with mostly average dressing cows trading steady to $2.00 lower and a few high dressing cows selling steady. Feeder supply consisted of 47 percent steers and bulls, 53 percent heifers and 29 percent weighing over 600 lbs.
