Compared to last week, steers calves traded unevenly steady with heifer calves steady to $5.00 higher. Slaughter Cows and Bulls traded steady. Demand was good on a moderate supply. Feeder calves made up approximately 88 percent of the offering with the remaining balance replacement and slaughter cattle. The feeder offering consisted of 27 percent steers, 29 percent feeder bulls and 44 percent heifers. Approximately 14 percent of the offering weighed over 600 lbs.

Compared to last week, a very light volume sale had no comparisons as feeders were very lightly tested. A nice offering of slaughter cows traded mostly steady. Demand was light to moderate with supply light. Slaughter cows accounted for near 45 percent of the total receipts. Feeder cattle consisted of 47 percent steers and bulls, 53 percent heifers and 45 percent weighing over 600 lbs.
