Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold steady to $2.00 lower. Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady. Supply moderate. Cows made up approximately 14 percent of the run, 86 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 42 percent of the offering, 44 percent heifers with 14 percent feeder bulls. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 26 percent.

Compared to last week there was too few feeders of anyone weight range to test the market, with mostly singles and small packages on a very light test. Slaughter cows accounted for near 40 percent of the total receipts, slaughter steers and heifers accounted for near 13 percent with 47 percent feeders. Slaughter cows sold steady. Feeders consisted of 60 percent steers and bulls, 40 percent heifers and 42 percent weighing over 600 lbs.
