Cows made up approximately 15 percent of the run, 85 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 33 percent of the offering, 47 percent heifers with 21 percent feeder bulls. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 14 percent.

Slaughter cows sold $3.00 lower and bulls sold steady; Demand good and moderate. Cows made up approximately 15 percent of the run, 85 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 46 percent of the offering, 44 percent heifers with 11 percent feeder bulls. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 17 percent.

Compared to the last special two weeks ago, steer calves weighing 400-600 lbs sold mostly $5.00-10.00 higher, steers over 600 lbs were lightly tested but sold with a higher undertone. Feeder heifers weighing 400-500 lbs sold mostly steady, 500-600 lbs were lightly tested but sold with a lower undertone, 6 and 7 weight heifers on similar weights and quality traded $3.00-5.00 lower. Slaughter cows sold steady to firm. Demand was moderate to good with supply moderate. Heifer quality was not as attractive as two weeks ago with many carrying flesh and unweaned/short weaned and sold with moderate to light demand. Slaughter cows accounted for near 12 percent of the total receipts. Feeder supply consisted of 50 percent steers, 8 percent bulls and 42 percent heifers with 49 percent weighing over 600 lbs.
