Cows made up approximately 12 percent of the run, 88 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 43 percent of the offering, 42 percent heifers with 15 percent feeder bulls. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 22 percent.

Cows made up approximately 16 percent of the run, 84 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 42 percent of the offering, 42 percent heifers with 4 percent feeder bulls. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 24 percent.

Compared to last week, too few feeders for a market test as receipts were very light. Feeders sold in small packages and singles and sold with light to moderate demand and a lower undertone was evident. Receipts were curbed this week with heavy rains through the week, Good Friday Holiday and lower market conditions. Slaughter cows on a nice offering sold fully steady to firm. Slaughter cows accounted for near 40 percent of the total receipts, slaughter steers and heifers accounted for near 15 percent of the total receipts and feeders 45 percent. Feeder supply was 68 percent steers and bulls, 32 percent heifers and 50 percent weighing over 600 lbs.
