Cows made up approximately 15 percent of the run, 85 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 40 percent of the offering, 46 percent heifers with 14 percent feeder bulls. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 21 percent.

Friday's sale was a Special Bred Cow Sale with a very light offering of feeder cattle, most selling in small packages and singles not well tested. Many of the feeders were unweaned/short weaned and carrying some flesh and sold with moderate demand. Slaughter cows on a heavy offering sold mostly steady to $3.00 lower. Slaughter cows accounted for 32 percent of the total receipts, replacement cows 28 percent, slaughter steers and heifers 4 percent and feeders 36 percent. There was a nice consignment of yearling Charolais breeding bulls on offer and sold with good demand.
