Cows made up approximately 12 percent of the run, 88 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 48 percent of the offering, 39 percent heifers with 13 feeder bulls. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 24 percent.

Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 22 percent.

Compared to the last special three weeks ago, steer calves under 650 lbs sold steady to $5.00 higher, with yearling steers over 650 lbs selling $3.00-8.00 higher. Feeder heifers weighing 450-600 lbs sold $2.00-5.00 higher with 600-650 lbs heifers trading $6.00-8.00 higher. Slaughter cows sold steady to firm. Demand was good with supply moderate. There was a nice offering of good quality calves weighing 450-650 lbs. Fed cattle market over the last several weeks has pushed higher along with CME cattle futures trading higher giving good support the market. Slaughter cows accounted for near 20 percent of the total receipts. Feeder supply consisted of 54 percent steers and bulls, 46 percent heifers and 36 percent weighing over 600 lbs.
