Cows made up approximately 13 percent of the run, 87 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 32 percent of the offering, 43 percent heifers with 25 percent feeder bulls. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 18 percent.

Compared to last week, the best test was on feeder steers weighing 600-700 lbs selling mostly $5.00 lower, over 600 lbs was not tested with last week. Feeder heifers were very lightly tested with last week's market and sold with a weak to lower undertone. Demand was moderate to good with supply moderate with bulk of the receipts weighing 600-800 lbs. Slaughter cows sold fully steady. Fed cattle prices this week were mostly $2.00-3.00 lower on live sales which help to pressure the market. Slaughter cows accounted for near 15 percent of the total receipts with slaughter steers and heifers accounting for 4 percent of the receipts. Feeder supply consisted of 62 percent steers and bulls, 38 percent heifers and 76 percent weighing over 600 lbs.
