Dixon Springs Ag Center To Host Beef Field Day August 3
SIMPSON, ILL.
The annual Beef Field Day at the University of Illinois Dixon Springs Agricultural Center will be on Thursday, August 3. The program will focus on beef cattle research conducted at Dixon Springs.
A variety of topics will be presented this year including utilization of stocklage in rations, forage quality and supplementation strategies, an update on beef cattle efficiency and reproduction.
The program will start at 5 p.m. and concludes with a complimentary dinner prepared by the Shawnee Beef Association. There is no charge to attend the Beef Field Day; however, for an accurate food count please pre-register by Friday, July 28.
