For several years, you’ve been asking about an economical beef records program for your computer. Dr. Craig Payne undertook the challenge and had several time-consuming projects get in the way such as the veterinary feed directive, beef quality assurance and others. He now, has it ready for field testing. If you’d like to be a field tester, give me a call. Here’s what he asks: you must have an identification system for both cows and calves; birth dates; willing to record health issues; will return your results this fall.
There will be no charge to you and Craig says each livestock specialist could have 3 to 5 volunteers. I hope some of you will call with an interest. ∆
