Little Red River Beef Cattle Tour Scheduled For March 28

ROSE BUD, ARK.
Cattle producers can gain valuable insights from fellow producers and their operations during the March 28 Little Red River Beef Cattle Tour.
“This year’s event will feature a look at three different operations: a commercial cow/calf operation that markets beef from farm to table; one that specializes in bull development and a third which is an intensively managed Brangus operation,” said Brian Haller, White County extension staff chair for the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture. “We will also have a lunch and learn panel of producers sharing their experiences in growing and marketing farm-raised beef.”
The day begins with registration at 8 a.m. at the Rose Bud First Baptist Church in Rose Bud and the tour begins at 8:45 a.m. On-site registration is $20 per person.
