Tennessee Meetings Set
SOMERVILLE, TENN.
January 17, 2017: The Fayette County Extension Office will be hosting a Winter Row Crop Production Meeting. This meeting will be held at Lone Oaks Farm, 10,000 Lake Hardeman Rd Middleton, TN starting at 10:00 a.m. At this meeting, Larry Steckel, UT Weed Specialist will cover Weed Control, Ryan Blair, UT area specialist will cover varieties and Heather Kelly, UT Plant Pathologist will cover disease control. February 7, 2017, The Fayette and Tipton County Extension Offices will be hosting an Irrigation Meeting. This meeting will be held at Rube Rhea’s farm shop-15480 Hwy 64 Somerville, TN starting at 5:00 p.m. At this meeting TN Tractor will be speaking on pivot maintenance and furrow irrigation. February 23, 2017, The Fayette, and Tipton County Extension Offices along with Bunge will be hosting a Winter Row Crop Marketing Meeting. This meeting will be held at Braden Station Restaurant, 189 Hwy 59 Mason 38049 from (11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.). At this meeting UT and Bunge will present the market outlook, marketing programs and other marketing information after lunch.
