Compared to last week, 600 lbs heifers sold $4 higher, the rest of the offering sold steady to $6 lower with lower quality in the offering. Slaughter cows sold $1 lower and bulls sold $5 lower; Demand moderate and supply light. Cows made up approximately 12 percent of the run, 88 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 30 percent of the offering, 35 percent heifers with 35 percent feeder bulls. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 26 percent.

Compared to last week, steer and heifer calves under 600 lbs on a light test traded steady on comparable sales with last week, yearlings were scarce and not tested. Supply was light, demand moderate to good with mostly small packages of calves in the offering. Slaughter cows sold mostly steady. Slaughter cows accounted for near 31 percent of the total receipts. Feeders consisted of 49 percent steers and bull calves, 51 percent heifers, and near 15 percent weighing over 600 lbs.

Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 23 percent.
