Rayville Meeting On Nov. 15 To Feature Growing Rice In Rows
RAYVILLE, LA.
The LSU AgCenter together with the Northeast Louisiana Rice Growers Association will host a meeting to discuss an alternative cropping system for growing rice in rows.
The meeting will be held Nov. 15 from 10 a.m. until noon at the Rayville Civic Center. Lunch will be provided.
Presentations will cover water and nitrogen management, weed control, insects and disease.
Rice growers will hear from local producers and an agricultural consultant who will share firsthand experiences with the row rice system.
