   Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold steady to $10 higher, except 500 lbs offering, they sold $1-3 lower on a light test. Slaughter cows sold $3 lower and bulls sold $2 lower. Demand uneven and supply light. Cows made up approximately 8 percent of the run, 92 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 32 percent of the offering, 37 percent heifers with 31 percent feeder bulls. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 33 percent.

Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 32 percent.

   Compared to the last special three weeks ago, feeder steers under 700 lbs sold mostly $10-20 higher, feeder heifers under 700 lbs traded $5-10 higher, weights over 700 lbs were not well tested but traded with a higher undertone. Slaughter cows sold mostly steady with spots $2 lower on the high dressing cows. CME cattle futures and fed cattle trade over the last week have had good positive moves helping to improve buying support. Slaughter cows accounted for near 17 percent of the total receipts. The feeder supply consisted of 60 percent steers and bulls, 40 percent heifers and near 47 percent weighing over 600 lbs.
