John Deere B Still Chugging On Wilke Farm
This 1947 John Deere B tractor was bought new April 15, 1947 by Arthur L. Wilke from Bill Wichern of Wichern Implement Co. in Perryville, Mo. The price for this new tractor was $1,500.00 plus $15.00 for the 1 cent sales tax. The original tractor is still used on the same farm that was bought in 1905 by William F. Wilke.
