   Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold steady to $6 higher. Slaughter cows sold steady and bulls sold $2 higher. Demand good and supply light. Cows made up approximately 13 percent of the run, 87 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 38 percent of the offering, 39 percent heifers with 23 percent feeder bulls. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 23 percent.

   Compared to two weeks ago, steer calves 400-550 lbs firm to $15 higher, 575-675 lbs weak to $10 lower and over 700 lbs no good comparison. Feeder heifers mostly steady, spots $3-5 higher on 500-525 lbs. Demand moderate to good. Supply light on a feeder special, mostly calves, near 48 percent steers and bulls, 32 percent heifers, 20 percent cows and 17 percent feeders over 600 lbs. Slaughter cows compared to last week, firm to $1 higher.

Slaughter cows sold $1 higher and bulls sold $2 higher; Demand uneven and supply moderate. Cows made up approximately 12 percent of the run, 88 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 51 percent of the offering, 44 percent heifers with 5 percent feeder bulls. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 16 percent.
