   Compared to last week, 400-600 lbs steers sold steady to $2 higher, the rest of the offering sold $1-10 lower. Slaughter cows sold $5 higher and bulls sold $2 higher. Demand uneven and supply light. Cows made up approximately 10 percent of the run, 90 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 36 percent of the offering, 42 percent heifers with 22 percent feeder bulls. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 17 percent.

   Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold $7-18 lower, with quality not being as attractive as previous weeks. Slaughter cows sold $1 higher, bulls sold $2 higher. Demand lower and supply moderate. Cows made up approximately 10 percent of the run, 90 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 44 percent of the offering, 46 percent heifers with 10 percent feeder bulls. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 22 percent.

   Compared to two weeks ago, steers and heifers under 600 lbs $10-20 lower spots $20-30 lower on 400-450 lbs steers and over 600 lbs mostly steady. Demand light to good, best on weaned calves and yearlings. Supply moderate on a feeder special, mostly 400-700 lbs offerings, near 52 percent steers, 35 percent heifers, 13 percent cows and 29 percent feeders over 600 lbs. Slaughter cows compared to last week firm to $2 higher.
