Sheep And Goat Workshop

EFFINGHAM, ILL.
   University of Illinois Extension will host a sheep and goat production workshop. The workshop will be held at the U of I Extension Office in Effingham, which is located at 1209 Wenthe Drive on Saturday, March 14th. Registration begins at 8:30 am, with the program starting promptly at 9:00 am and ending at 2:00 pm. The workshop is relevant for seasoned producers as well as those thinking of getting started in raising sheep and goats. This workshop will focus on wool, fiber, and meat production, pasture management for optimal grazing, flock health, and marketing strategies for sheep and goat products.
   Advanced registration is required by March 11th.  A $20 per person registration fee includes all program materials and lunch.
