Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were weak to steady. Slaughter cows were fully steady. Supply was moderate. Demand was light to moderate. Of the feeder offering 56 percent were steers and 44 percent heifers, with 44 percent of all feeders over 600 lbs. Cows and bulls made up 15 percent of total receipts.
SCHEDULING NOTE: Farmington Livestock will hold a Special Cow Sale on Saturday, December 7. Several reputation consignments will be on hand.
FEEDER STEERS: Medium and Large 1: 400-500 lbs $187-215; 500-600 lbs $170-184; 600-700 lbs $165-167.50; 700-800 lbs $150-158; 800-900 lbs $145-146. Medium and Large 1-2: 500-550 lbs $165-166; 650-700 lbs $135.

Again varied quantities and qualities made for uneven market results. Very few light weight heifers trended the report lower rest were higher. Light weight males were $10-15 higher with the rest steady to $5 higher. Slaughter bulls and cows sold steady.
