Compared to last week, 300-400 lbs steers and 400 lbs heifers sold $6-10 higher, the rest of the offering sold uneven from $4 higher to $3 lower with good quality in the offering. Slaughter cows sold steady and bulls sold $2 higher; Demand uneven and supply moderate. Cows made up approximately 15 percent of the run, 85 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 58 percent of the offering, 30 percent heifers with 12 percent feeder bulls. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 47 percent.
