New ET Center Holds Grand Opening

Matt Hays, CEO of Equipment Technologies (ET), which makes the Apache Sprayer, spoke recently at the grand opening of the company’s ET Ag Center in Batesville, Miss.
“I’d like to tell you a little bit about what an ET Ag Center is,” he began. “We at Equipment Technologies have been investing in retail, specifically application specialists, dealerships for about eight years now and we have seven stores in five states. The ET Ag Center concept evolved and is really the combination of the best from those experiences.”
The goal of Equipment Technologies is to help the grower get the most out of their application experience, specifically through the products that ET sells; Along with the parts, the company also provides the service, the education and the knowledge with the grower.

“We think that there is a significant opportunity in the marketplace to provide those things,” Hays added. “Often a grower admits that he needs assistance, that sort of education and knowledge to boost or optimize the application experience. They have a hard time finding those things.”
Many implement dealers sell sprayers and some parts but they don’t really carry the full line of things that the grower needs; and many are probably lacking on the knowledge and expertise side.
“So we learned that when we combine the products and the parts with the knowledge and expertise it really significantly boosts the overall value and the experience for the grower,” he noted.
“That’s what we’re trying to do. We’d love for you to come, to see the store in Batesville. It’s just a fantastic looking retail area that we have here. We have all the parts that you’ll need. You can meet the team, the guys that are going to have the knowledge to make sure that you get what you need,” Hays summed. ∆
