Compared to last week, steers and heifers under 600 lbs sold $3-20 higher, the offering over 600 lbs sold steady. Slaughter cows and bulls sold $2 higher. Demand good and supply moderate. Cows made up approximately 15 percent of the run, 85 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 52 percent of the offering, 36 percent heifers. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 30 percent.

Due to the holidays there was no sale last week, compared to two weeks ago steers and heifers sold steady to $11 higher. Slaughter cows sold $2 lower and bulls sold $1 lower. Demand good and supply light. Cows made up approximately 12 percent of the run, 88 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 34 percent of the offering, 45 percent heifers. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 14 percent.
