By now many of you have visited your county’s FSA office or have plans to do so. There are two programs operated by USDA for livestock disaster the Livestock Forage Program (LFP) and the Livestock Indemnity Program (LIP).
Even though you may not feel you can receive any assistance you might be surprised if you had cattle during the latter part of 2012.
Let’s keep our fingers crossed that we don’t’ end up with a drought disaster program in 2014. ∆
