Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold steady to $6 higher with good quality in the offering. Slaughter cows sold $2 higher and bulls sold steady. Demand and supply moderate. Cows made up approximately 12 percent of the run, 88 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 39 percent of the offering, 52 percent heifers. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 12 percent.

Hog sale is next Tuesday at 11 because there will be no sale Memorial Week May 27th.
Due to a lot of rain farmers were unable to be in the fields bringing more animals and farmers to sale barn. Market reflected that. $2-8 higher. Slaughter bulls and cows sold steady.

Cows made up approximately 14 percent of the run, 86 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 38 percent of the offering, 44 percent heifers. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 22 percent.
