Compared to two weeks ago, steers and heifers firm to $3 higher, spots $3-5 higher on thin offerings. Demand good. Supply heavy on a feeder special, mostly weaned 450-850 lbs feeders with shots, near 45 percent steers and bulls, 45 percent heifers, 10 percent cows and 38 percent feeders over 600 lbs. Slaughter cows compared to last week firm to $3 higher.

Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold steady to $5 higher. Slaughter cows sold $2 higher and bulls sold $4 higher. Demand and supply moderate. Cows made up approximately 12 percent of the run, 88 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 56 percent of the offering, 34 percent heifers. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 32 percent.
