Due to bad weather last week and the holidays there has been no sale for the last three weeks, however sales were $3-16 higher compared to four weeks ago. Slaughter cows and bulls sold $3 higher. Demand good and supply moderate. Cows made up approximately 10 percent of the run, 90 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 55 percent of the offering, 34 percent heifers. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 40 percent.

Happy New Year. Welcome back. Due to the holidays and then extreme cold and other adverse weather there has been no sale for 3 weeks. Market was well supplied with good numbers this week. Compared to 3 weeks ago market was higher. Slaughter bulls and cows sold higher.

Due to weather conditions and the holidays there has been no sales for three weeks for a trend comparison, however sales were $7-15 higher than the December 16 sale. Slaughter cows and bulls sold $1 higher. Demand good and supply moderate. Cows made up approximately 11 percent of the run, 89 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 42 percent of the offering, 45 percent heifers. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 19 percent.
