Missouri 4-H was well-represented at the 2025 Western National Roundup Livestock Judging Contest, held in Denver, Colo., on Jan. 10. The Livingston County team placed sixth out of 25 competing teams.

The team, consisting of Rylee Anderson, Harlee Beck, Ben Brubaker and Brandon Cull, was coached by Brad Anderson and Joe Limbach, said Kelsey Fuller, University of Missouri Extension 4-H state agriculture educator. Their performances also earned them several accolades, including:

  • First High Team in Cattle – Anderson (Third High Individual), Beck (Fourth High Individual) and Cull (11th High Individual).
  • Fifth High Team in Goats – Anderson (Sixth High Individual).
  • 6th High Team in Reasons.

Additionally, Rylee Anderson took home the title of Second High Individual Overall at the contest, further highlighting the team’s impressive trip out West, said Fuller.

Programs offered by Missouri 4-H would not be possible without support from our partners. Major support for Missouri 4-H Agriculture programs was provided by the Missouri 4-H Foundation in partnership with BTC Bank, FCS Financial, MFA Foundation, Missouri Association of Meat Processors, Missouri Farm Bureau Federation, Missouri Soybean Merchandising Council, Smithfield Hog Production, and the Hertzog Family.  ∆
