Slaughter steers and heifers traded steady with last week. Slaughter cows sold steady to firm. Special feeder cattle sale next week. Supply included: 63% Feeder Cattle (52% Steers, 35% Heifers, 13% Bulls); 37% Slaughter Cattle (27% Steers, 5% Heifers, 60% Cows, 8% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 45%.

Dry weather continues to bring cattle to town but rain is finally in the forecast for mid-week and better chances for this weekend. Supply included: 100% Feeder Cattle (54% Steers, 43% Heifers, 3% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 56%.

Holstein steers traded 3.00 higher on high choice and 2.00 higher on low choice and selects. Feeder steers & heifers traded steady with a weaker undertone on the better quality on medium-large 1-2 (Market quotes are on mostly unvaccinated cattle)and 5.00-10.00 lower on lower quality medium-short 2-3. Slaughter cows traded steady to 2.00 lower on better overnight cows with good lean cows trading 3.00 lower and 2.00-4.00 lower on slower cows. Slaughter bulls traded steady.
