Friday's auction had a light offering of feeder steers, bulls and heifer calves selling in small packages and singles and were lightly tested. Also selling were several small packages of bred cows in the 2nd and 3rd stage along with several young pairs all selling with good demand. Slaughter cows sold steady with most of the offering average to low dressing cows a light offering of slaughter steers and heifers traded steady. Feeder Special next week. Supply included: 57% Feeder Cattle (26% Steers, 40% Heifers, 34% Bulls); 32% Slaughter Cattle (30% Steers, 60% Cows, 10% Bulls); 11% Replacement Cattle (64% Bred Cows, 36% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 25%.

Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers steady to 2.00 higher. Steer and heifer calves 2.00-6.00 lower. Demand moderate to good. Quality average. Most cattle off the grass with condition in the buyer's favor. The Oklahoma heat has finally broke for this week, lows will dip into the 30s, however most of Oklahoma is in some type of drought condition. Supply included: 100% Feeder Cattle (60% Steers, 35% Heifers, 5% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 45%.
