Compared to the last special two weeks ago, steer calves on a light test weighing 500-600 lbs sold with a firm to higher undertone, 600-700 lbs traded steady with the best test on 700-750 lb steers trading 10.00-13.00 higher, two pot loads of 961-975 lb steers sold with a firm to higher undertone. Feeder heifers were lightly tested weighing 500-750 lbs and sold mostly steady on comparable sales. Demand was good on a moderate supply with two pot loads of 961-975 lb steers selling at 248.00-250.60 and a consignment of 111 head of 1014 lb heifers selling at 215.60. Slaughter steers and heifers traded steady with slaughter cows selling steady to firm. Supply included: 80% Feeder Cattle (59% Steers, 40% Heifers, 1% Bulls); 20% Slaughter Cattle (23% Steers, 12% Heifers, 55% Cows, 9% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 77%.
